The MedDirect Urgent Care staff were honored to have built and participated in the MedDirect Urgent Care float for the 2007 Nevada Day Parade on Saturday, October 27 in Carson City. It was quite a team effort and we believe very successful, based on the very  positive feedback we have received from patients and others who saw us along the parade route.

The theme of the 2007 Nevada Day Parade was “Mysteries of Nevada—Area 51,” so many of the floats, ours included, included aliens from outer space. For more information about the 2007 Nevada Day Parade, please visit the following site:  http://www.nevadaday.com/

Following are some pictures of us setting up for the parade, as well as during the parade itself. Just so you know the story behind our float, a spaceship from the Planet Zircon crashed in the parking lot of our Carson City MedDirect and our staff ran out to provide medical care to them. So those in green are the aliens from Zircon and the MedDirect staff are in red scrubs. By the way, the aliens from the planet Zircon have recovered completely, thanks mainly to the prompt care and excellent service by the physicians and nurses of MedDirect Urgent Care. Their space ship has been repaired and they are on their way back to Zircon.
